Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), 10-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Riverheads improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to play the Storm in a Shenandoah game on Tuesday, May 13. The Storm enter the game with a record of 3-11. Staunton lost 23-2 in their recent league game against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA)

The Generals now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a Bull Run game on Friday, May 9. Stonewall Jackson will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 19-11 league loss to Luray (Luray, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-15.
