In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats softball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Nicholas County Bluejackets.

The Wildcats (10-10) will now prepare for their match against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils go into the District 38 match with a 2-8 record.

In their next game, the Bluejackets battle the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) in a District 38 match, on Wednesday, May 7. Nicholas County will attempt to better on its 4-20 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 7-10 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY).
