Pennsylvania High School Softball - Sullivan County bested by Northwest Area

May 7, 2025: Shickshinny, PA 18655

The Northwest Area Rangers triumphed over the visiting Sullivan County Griffins softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Rangers meet the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 10. Northwest Area will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 11-8 league win over Pittston (Pittston, PA).

The Griffins (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sayre (Sayre, PA). The Sabres enter the non-league challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, Sayre was routed by Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA), 11-0, in a non-league challenge.
