In Wednesday's league match, the host Rockford Auburn Knights softball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Rockford East E-Rabs.
The Knights (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Thunder go into the Northern Illinois NIC-9 match with a 15-8 record. In their last match, Belvidere North tipped Hononegah (Rockton, IL), 6-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the E-Rabs battle the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 match, on Friday, May 9. Rockford East will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Indians go into the match with a 14-3 record after their 6-0 league loss to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL).
