In Wednesday's league match, the host Roosevelt Bears softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Taylor Griffins.

The Bears (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Railsplitters go into the Downriver match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Lincoln Park was routed by Anderson (Southgate, MI), 14-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI) in a Downriver match, on Monday, May 12. Taylor will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Titans go into the match with a 14-9 record after their 12-10 league loss to Carlson (Gibraltar, MI).
