West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), 10-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, West Scranton improves its record to 5-13 on the year. The Invaders host Scranton (Scranton, PA) to play the Knights in a Lackawanna 1 game on Monday, May 12. The Knights enter the game with a record of 1-14.

The Cavaliers now have a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host North Pocono for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 8. Scranton Prep will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-3.
