Michigan High School Baseball - Ogemaw Heights edges Clare

The Ogemaw Heights Falcons baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Clare Pioneers to 8 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now hold a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gaylord for a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. Ogemaw Heights will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-2.

With the defeat, Clare drops to 8-9 on the year. The Pioneers host Shepherd (Shepherd, MI) to play the Bluejays in a Jack Pine test on Monday, May 11. The Bluejays go into the test with a record of 17-5. Shepherd lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI)
