The Como Park Cougars baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Johnson Governors to 7 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.
The Cougars now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Park for a St. Paul City test on Friday, May 8. Como Park will play a Scots team coming off a 18-0 league loss to St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN). The Scots record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Johnson drops to 0-8 on the year. The Governors travel to Harding (St. Paul, MN) to play the Knights in a St. Paul City test on Friday, May 8. The Knights go into the test with a record of 2-7. Harding lost 14-4 in their recent league test against St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN)
