The Western Panthers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Tecumseh Indians to 6 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league test on Friday, May 8. Western will play a Vikings team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Tecumseh drops to 16-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Adrian (Adrian, MI) to play the Maples in a Southeastern - White test on Tuesday, May 12. The Maples go into the test with a record of 12-9. Adrian won 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI)
