In Monday's non-league game, the host Romeo Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Dakota Cougars.
The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Utica Ford was edged by Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI), 6-3, in a league game.
The Cougars (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Macomb Area - Red game with a 15-4 record. In their last game, Grosse Pointe South tipped Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI), 11-2, in a non-league game.
