New York High School Baseball - Skaneateles wallops Homer

In Monday's league challenge, the Skaneateles Lakers (Skaneateles, NY) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Homer Trojans (Homer, NY), by a final score of 13-3.

With the win, Skaneateles upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Lakers travel to Chittenango (Chittenango, NY) to battle the Bears in a Section 3 Freedom challenge on Saturday, May 13. The Bears go into the game with a record of 7-4.

The Trojans (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Solvay (Solvay, NY). The Bearcats go into the Section 3 Liberty game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Solvay was overwhelmed by Westhill (Syracuse, NY), 8-0, in a league game.
