Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Williams Valley gets by Minersville

Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) and the host Minersville Battlin' Miners (Minersville, PA), saw Williams Valley's baseball squad knock off Minersville by a count of 5-3.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Antietam Mountaineers (Reading, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 9. Williams Valley will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Mountaineers enter the battle with a 0-15 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Trinity (Camp Hill, PA).

The Battlin' Miners now possess a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Leadership Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 9. Minersville will play a Lions squad coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.
