Illinois High School Volleyball - Alton Father McGivney Catholic

The Father McGivney Catholic Griffins volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Alton Redbirds to 0 in the Griffins non-league victory on Monday.

The Griffins now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collinsville for a non-league game on Monday, May 15. Father McGivney Catholic will meet a Kahoks team coming off a 2-0 league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Kahoks record now stands at 10-10.

The Redbirds (12-18) will now prepare for their game against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers enter the Southwestern game with a 26-2 record. In their last game, Belleville East defeated Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
