The New Bedford Whalers topped the host Barnstable Red Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Whalers now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boston College High for a non-league test on Thursday, May 11. New Bedford will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Boston Latin (Boston, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
The Red Hawks (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Durfee (Fall River, MA). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Durfee was knocked off by Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
