Rhode Island High School Volleyball - East Greenwich overwhelmed by Chariho

In Monday's league battle, the host Chariho Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the East Greenwich Avengers.

The Chargers (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Mount St. Charles Academy achieved victory over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Avengers clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Thursday, May 11. East Greenwich will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI).
