The Putnam Clippers prevailed the visiting Cheney RVT Beavers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.
The Clippers now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 9. Putnam will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.
The Beavers (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Newington (Newington, CT). The Nor'easters enter the non-league game with a 10-11 record. In their last game, Newington dropped by New Britain (New Britain, CT), 3-1, in a non-league game.
