In Monday's league battle, the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Colts volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marlboro Mustangs.

The Colts (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Middletown South went down by Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Match Summary

The Colts went on the road to Marlboro who they previously lost to earlier in the season. On this day, the Colts got their redemption by winning in straight sets. It was a total team effort and victory. With a couple of guys unavailable, the boys stepped up and played very well to give themselves a chance to qualify for the Shore Conference Tournament. The boys will go on the road again to play Middletown South.
