In Monday's league test, the visiting Coventry Oakers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-10 victory over the Scituate Spartans.
The Oakers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Classical for a Division 4 test on Friday, May 12. Coventry will face a Purples squad coming off a 14-9 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Purples record now stands at 7-4.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a Division 4 test, on Wednesday, May 10. Scituate will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Purples come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 9-8 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI).
