The crowd at Monday's league test between the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) and the visiting Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), saw Carroll County's soccer squad triumph over Alleghany by a count of 8-0.

The Cavaliers now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Honaker for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. Carroll County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Alleghany drops to 0-13 on the season. The Mountaineers host Radford (Radford, VA) to meet the Bobcats in a Three Rivers test on Monday, May 15. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 7-6. Radford lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Glenvar (Salem, VA)
