The Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks held off the visiting Columbus Discoverers soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Monday's non-league match.
The Silver Hawks now sport a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Creighton Prep for a non-league match on Friday, May 12. Lincoln Southwest will encounter a Junior Jays squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Omaha South (Omaha, NE). The Junior Jays record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Columbus drops to 10-5 on the season.
