In Monday's league battle, the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.
The Flying Flucos (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the Jefferson battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Western Albemarle nudged Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 9-0, in a league battle.
