The Monticello Mustangs soccer team scored 4 points and limited the host Goochland Bulldogs to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

Next, the Mustangs face the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Thursday, May 11. Monticello will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the contest with a 5-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).

The Bulldogs now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albemarle for a Jefferson contest on Thursday, May 11. Goochland will face a Patriots team coming off a 2-2 league Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-2.
