Kansas High School Softball - Santa Fe Trail bounces Anderson County

May 8, 2023: Garnett, KS 66032

The crowd at Monday's league match between the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) and the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), saw Santa Fe Trail's softball squad achieve victory over Anderson County by a count of 16-7.

The Chargers now sport a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iola for a Pioneer match on Tuesday, May 9. Santa Fe Trail will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Independence (Independence, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, Anderson County falls to 4-11 on the campaign.
