In Monday's non-league contest, the Banks Braves (Banks, OR) softball team overwhelmed the host Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR), by a margin of 18-3.

With the triumph, Banks moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Braves travel to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to play the Pirates in a contest on Thursday, May 11. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 0-6.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) in a 3A Special District 1 battle, on Wednesday, May 10. Sheridan will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Scio (Scio, OR).
