Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA), 5-1 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Owen J. Roberts for a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Boyertown will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Methacton falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Norristown (Norristown, PA) to battle the Eagles in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Norristown lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA)
