In Monday's league contest, the Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) softball team the host Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA), by a margin of 3-1.
With the triumph, Burrell moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bucs travel to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Antelopes in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 9. The Antelopes come into the contest with a record of 12-1.
