Indiana High School Softball - Salem loses to Charlestown

May 8, 2023: Charlestown, IN 47111

The Charlestown Pirates softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Salem Lions to 1 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Charlestown improves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Lanesville (Lanesville, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 9. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 17-2. Lanesville won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Orleans Bulldogs (Orleans, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 12. Salem will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record.
