Spectators at Monday's league match between the Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) and the visiting Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA), witnessed Fairview's softball squad tip Seneca by a count of 9-7.

The Tigers now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Union City for a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, May 9. Fairview will face a Bears squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA). The Bears record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Seneca moves to 3-6 on the season. The Bobcats host Girard (Girard, PA) to face the Yellowjackets in a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, May 9. The Yellowjackets go into the match with a record of 0-10. Girard lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA)
