Spectators at Monday's league match between the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) and the host Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA), witnessed Hopedale's softball squad tip Nipmuc Regional by a count of 8-3.

The Blue Raiders now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a non-league match on Friday, May 12. Hopedale will meet a Gators squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA). The Gators record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Nipmuc Regional moves to 6-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to South (Worcester, MA) to meet the Colonels in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 10. The Colonels go into the match with a record of 3-10. South lost 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Oxford (Oxford, MA)
