With the triumph, Northwestern Regional moves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league game on Monday, May 8. The Mountaineers come into the game with a record of 3-3. Housatonic-Wamogo won 24-9 in their recent non-league game against Terryville (Terryville, CT)

Coming up next, the Mountaineers encounter the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire test, on Wednesday, May 10. Housatonic will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 22-0 league win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT).
