Johnsburg Central Jaguars (North Creek, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wells Indians (Wells, NY), 23-12 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Placid for a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Johnsburg Central will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 17-4 league loss to Bolton/Schroon Lake (Bolton Landing, NY). The Bombers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Wells falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Crown Point (Crown Point, NY) to battle the Panthers in a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Crown Point won 26-0 in their recent league challenge against Chazy (Chazy, NY)
