The Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) softball routed the host Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS), 13-8 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Grizzlies (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Pittsburg was routed by Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS), 5-0, in a non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a Southeast Kansas bout on Tuesday, May 9. Parsons will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Iola (Iola, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
