Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) and the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), witnessed Oceanside's softball squad tip Lincoln Academy by a count of 11-7.

The Mariners now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount View for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 10. Oceanside will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Lincoln Academy moves to 1-4 on the season. The Eagles host Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to meet the Tigers in a Class B South match on Wednesday, May 10. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 6-1. Gardiner lost 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME)
