In Monday's league contest, the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH), by a margin of 12-1.
With the triumph, South moves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Rebels travel to North (Eastlake, OH) to play the Rangers in a Western Reserve contest on Friday, May 12. The Rangers come into the contest with a record of 11-7. North won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against GlenOak (Canton, OH)
In their next game, the Blue Streaks play the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) in a Western Reserve contest, on Tuesday, May 9. Madison will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Beavers come into the contest with a 16-5 record after their 6-1 league win over Chardon (Chardon, OH).
