California High School Softball - Palo Alto knocked off by Santa Clara

May 8, 2023: Palo Alto, CA 94301

In Monday's league contest, the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA), by a margin of 15-5.

With the triumph, Santa Clara moves its record to 9-10 on the year. The Bruins travel to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA) to play the Firebirds in a El Camino contest on Tuesday, May 9. The Firebirds come into the contest with a record of 12-4. Fremont won 14-4 in their recent league contest against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) in a El Camino contest, on Wednesday, May 10. Palo Alto will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 15-9 record after their 1-0 league win over Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA).
