Spectators at Monday's league match between the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) and the host Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME), witnessed Woodland's softball squad prevail over Shead by a count of 24-1.

The Dragons now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Narraguagus for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 10. Woodland will face a Knights squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Shead moves to 0-6 on the season. The Tigers host Calais (Calais, ME) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 2-6.
