The Columbia Central Golden Eagles baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Homer Trojans to 2 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles (12-0) will now prepare for their match against Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Mounties go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Northwest was overwhelmed by Madison (Adrian, MI), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Comets go into the Big 8 match with a 2-3 record.
