The Linden Eagles baseball team (Linden, MI), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Kearsley Hornets (Flint, MI)
The Hornets now hold a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goodrich for a Flint Metro outing on Thursday, May 9. Kearsley will confront a Martians team coming off a 7-5 league win over Clio (Clio, MI). The Martians record now stands at 17-6.
Next, the Eagles confront the Swartz Creek Dragons (Swartz Creek, MI) in a Flint Metro outing, on Friday, May 10. Linden will attempt to advance on its 12-10 season record. The Dragons go into the outing with a 9-8 record after their 5-4 league loss to Holly (Holly, MI).
