The Lyons Lions baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Marion Black Knights to 2 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.

The Lions (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Newark (Newark, NY). The Reds go into the non-league match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Newark was overwhelmed by Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY), 12-0, in a league match.

The Black Knights (0-12) will now prepare for their match against Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Genesee Valley ran past Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, NY), 16-1, in a non-league match.
