The Monterey Dores baseball team (Monterey, CA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the host St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA)

The Sharks now hold a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Soledad for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 11. St. Francis will confront a Aztecs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 21-5.

Next, the Dores confront the Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 11. Monterey will attempt to advance on its 11-15 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 12-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Soledad (Soledad, CA).
