The South Lyon East Cougars got by the visiting Mott Corsairs baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 5-15 record. They take the field next when they host Howell for a non-league bout on Friday, May 10. South Lyon East will face a Highlanders team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-14.
Next, the Corsairs face the Oakland Christian Lancers (Auburn Hills, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 11. Mott will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 12-8 league loss to Roeper (Birmingham, MI).
