In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Old Bridge Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Edison Eagles.
The Knights (21-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Hunterdon Central lost by St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the New Brunswick Zebra (New Brunswick, NJ) in a GMC - White battle, on Friday, May 10. Edison will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Zebra come into the battle with a 6-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ).
