West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 8-7 in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodson for a Patriot battle on Friday, May 10. West Springfield will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-7 league win over West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-4.
