In Wednesday's league test, the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) lacrosse squad overwhelmed the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI), by a tally of 16-3.
The Bulldogs now have a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a Division 3 test on Thursday, May 9. Westerly will face a Vikings squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-10.
In their next game, the Chieftains face the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Friday, May 10. Ponaganset will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 14-5 league loss to St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI).
