Next, the Buffaloes confront the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 9. Floyd County will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA).

The Bobcats now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carroll County for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Radford will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-5.
