In Wednesday's league battle, the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) lacrosse squad the host Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), by a count of 8-4.
Coming up next, the Terriers clash with the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a River Ridge battle, on Saturday, May 11. William Byrd will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Demons come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 15-5 league loss to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).
