The Gainesville Cardinals lacrosse squad (Gainesville, VA), was overwhelmed 15-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA)
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) in a Cedar Run contest, on Friday, May 10. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 14-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 14-1 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Patriot (Nokesville, VA).
The Cardinals now sport a 8-7 record.
