Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), 12-2 in a non-league battle.

The Indians now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Clover Hill for a Dominion battle on Friday, May 10. Powhatan will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-8.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 10. Matoaca will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA).
