In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting West Point Pointers soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Northumberland Indians.
The Pointers (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against King William (King William, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Tidewater battle with a 2-9 record.
The Indians (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles come into the Northern Neck battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Westmoreland was overwhelmed by Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA), 5-1, in a league battle.
