Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), 5-3 in a league challenge.

The Red Knights now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a Metro West challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Benilde-St. Margaret's will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN) to face the Red Knights in a Metro West challenge on Wednesday, May 8.
